Rajababu was realeased in 1994. I used to live in india that time when it was released in january or february of 1994, not sure. This was one of the movie where dhavid dhawan and govinda magic worked like a charm, first was swarg, then came shola aur shabnam and aankhen then rajababu so on with the coolie number ones, hero number ones, sajan chale sasural, govinda giving a super duper hit every year, sometimes two a year. He used to rule he had his time when he was on the top spot directors were dying to make comedies with govinda.

The movie is about rajababu (govinda) he is a spoilt and a wayward son of a richland lord played by kadarkhan. Kadarkhan Doesn't like the way rajababu lives his life spending his money, gambling, drinking and going to late night shows that cost even 25 thousand rupee to watch a amitabh movie.

One day rajababu sees Madhu(karishma kapoor) and falls in love with her. Rajbabu's family member agree with his choice and everything is ready for his marriage with madhu, but later on in the movie madhu discovers that rajababu is nothing but a illeterate, uneducated guy and insulta his family and calls of the marriage.

Later on in the movie madhu realizes her mistake and agress to marry rajababu, but by the time she agrees, raja has agreed to marry the girl chosen by his father, although he is in love with madhu. MAdhur challenges raja's father that she will do anything to marry raja and wouldn't let him marry anybody else.
